"Refracted" was my Senior Capstone film that I developed alongside my partner, Jack Anton, over the course of six months. We wanted to explore the realm of hybrid animation, myself animating the 2D elements and he the 3D. As for the story, we wanted to explore the concept of confronting the darkness and negativity within oneself, and how embracing inner change can be a difficult process.

Storyboard - Original Draft
This was the first draft of the storyboards for this film. Most of the changes we incorporated into the final piece was based on maintaining a realistic production timeframe, as well as class feedback on the efficiency of storytelling.
